The Tea Makers of London
What makes loose leaf different?
Most everyday teabags are filled with “fannings” and “dust”, the smallest broken pieces left over from tea production. They brew quickly, but much of the tea’s natural flavour and aroma is lost along the way.
Loose leaf tea is a different experience. Whole or large pieces of leaf are given room to unfurl in the pot, slowly releasing the subtle notes that make each tea unique, from the malty depth of an Assam to the delicate muscatel of a Darjeeling.

A London tea maker with Ceylon roots
Who are we?
The Tea Makers of London was founded on a love of tea that started in Sri Lanka, one of the world’s great tea-growing regions.
Today we source teas from respected gardens and estates around the world, from Darjeeling and Assam to China and Japan. Every tea is hand-packed in our UK tea hub so it reaches you fresh and fast.

Loose leaf quality, teabag convenience
Triune™ Teabags
Short on time? Our Triune teabags hold the same tea you’ll find in our loose leaf caddies. Nothing is cut down or ground to fit. Each large pyramid-shaped bag gives the leaves room to expand and infuse properly, just as they would in a teapot.
Choose from well-loved classics such as English Breakfast, Earl Grey and Darjeeling, plus green teas, herbal and fruit infusions.
FAQ’s
